Odd One Out Tea
Creative Producer, Photographer (Contract) | May 2025Odd One Out (OOO) Tea is a Taiwanese brand redefining traditional East Asian teas. Since its 2022 debut, OOO Tea has rapidly expanded in Los Angeles, offering unique blends to the U.S. market. The brand focuses on making high-quality loose-leaf tea accessible, sourcing premium oolongs, green teas, and more from small family farms in Taiwan, Japan, and China.
I was hired to direct and photograph the launch of OOO Tea’s new matcha menu at their Santa Monica location. In addition to photography, I co-directed the video advertisements alongside videographer Shaun, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative. The final visuals reflect the brand’s clean aesthetic and modern take on quality matcha, while capturing the vibrant, coastal energy of Santa Monica. The photographs were featured across OOO Tea’s social media channels.
